-100 000 : Arrival (from Asia ?) of the Pre-Sapiens at the Eyzies of Tayac and at the Moustier (Dordogne), of Acheulean, Tayac and Mousterian civilisations.

Tools : Paleo-lithic = "old stone" = cut stone (= non polished)
